Hi my name is Mands and I am La Maison des Petits Gateaux. I have an underlying love of cake so rather than eat it I decided to make and design cakes for others to have a munch on!!! I live in Coleman’s Hatch with my long suffering partner Glenn, my son Jake, an actor who has just returned from New York (I often say this much to the amusement of my friends), a diva dog called Gem and a diva cat called Mac! I loved my chickens and was particularly fond of my ladies (sheep) who resided in my garden for a while. I first started making wedding cakes in Tunbridge Wells and the business has grown from there. I also specialise in celebration cakes, which are incredible fun to make.
I have trained with some of the best cake designers out there and over the years have developed a style that is synonimous with the La Maison brand. I do love to experiment with new design ideas and flavours so am always up for a challenge. It’s exciting as the process of designing something completely new often opens up a whole new world of ideas for me.
I love to make wedding cakes in Tunbridge Wells Kent, East Grinstead and the surrounding area so very handy for a cake collection. If I am desiging your wedding cake then I offer a delivery and set up service that is included in the price of your cake.
